Xclusive Mas Band, is Dallas based organization. Since our inception in 2022, Our Vision is to promote, enhance and integrate the Caribbean and American culture. As an organization, Xclusive Mas’ mission is to promote and educate our community on the rich cultural and heritage of the Caribbean.

Xclusive Mas Band is also run by Sasha Carr who was born in the twin island state of Antigua & Barbuda. Sasha Amy is to also bring the small island culture to Dallas Carnival. Like a true VAGABONG.

 

WHAT is playing mas/Caribbean carnival?

It is a annual celebration of life found in many countries of the world. Carnival in the Caribbean ultimately represents freedom and celebration. Carnival traditions is based on a number disciplines including: “playing Mas” masquerade; Calypso music and crowning a Calypso King or Monarch; Panorama(steel band competition); J’ouvert morning; and a number of other traditions.
